Sonic & Knuckles Arriving On XBLA Sept. 9

Make sure you save some Microsoft points for a classic 16-bit game arriving for the Xbox Live Arcade, as Sonic & Knuckles for the Sega Genesis will be available September 9th.

Not only will you get Sonic & Knuckles in all it's awesome digital download form, but bonus content if you own any other previous Sonic XBLA game. The bonus content will unlock the three different cartridge lock-on versions that are only available when inserting any previous Sonic game into the Sonic & Knuckles cartridge, ala classic style. Great news for any retro gamer waiting to play the original Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in it's true form. Plus let's not forget to mention the other added bonuses such as Knuckles playable in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Blue Sphere; a cool mini game of sorts that is available when inserting the Sonic the Hedgehog cartridge into Sonic & Knuckles.
