THQ Chokes Out New Undisputed 2010 DetailsBy: Brad Hilderbrand, Contributing Writer |
Following up on last year's suprise hit UFC Undisputed, THQ today released some new details regarding the latest entry in the franchise. UFC Undisputed 2010 is set to introduce new mechanics such as the Sway and Posture Systems, as well as an improved AI that will read your in-ring tendencies and adjust the commentary, AI intelligence and overall career progression of your created character. Another important new addition is the inclusion of online camps and leagues. Players will be able to team up and create camps where they can train with each other and hone their skills, then head out and challenge other groups to matches.
THQ is offering tons of other features, including new modes, new customization options and a roster of over 100 fighters. The company also seems confident that they're producing a title which will exceed the already lofty expectations set by consumers.
“UFC Undisputed 2010 will deliver the most advanced and superior virtual MMA action based on the world’s most prominent and respected organization in mixed martial arts, Ultimate Fighting Championship,” said Brian Coleman, Vice President of Global Brand Management, THQ. “Through enriched gameplay and extensive new options, players will understand and appreciate what it takes to be a real UFC fighter.”
Those ready to get into the Octagon and pound some skulls should mark May 25 on their calendars.
